Montreal Seen From Above: A Bright City With A Dazzling Future!

Offering the only 360° panoramic view of our metropolis, the Observatoire Place Ville Marie will take part to Nuit blanche à Montréal for the third time by extending its opening hours for the occasion. On Saturday, March 2nd, from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m., visitors will be given access to the Observatoire at a reduced price, only $10.

(Re)discover the city skyline during this special evening at the Observatoire. Contemplate the beauty and night glow of today’s Montreal. Admire the unique view of our city shining brightly in the heart of the night while looking at the splendid colors of the Jacques-Cartier Bridge, the Biosphere and La Grande Roue, in addition to the lights of the Olympic Stadium, the cross of Mount Royal and the Saint Joseph’s Oratory.

Then, project yourself into the future with an exhibition of images shown on our screens, presenting outstanding projects envisioned by creators from all backgrounds who dedicated themselves to shaping and dreaming tomorrow’s Montreal. A transformation that unfolds before our eyes, making us witness our city’s metamorphosis. Through the years, new projects become the symbols of this evolution: the completion of the Bonaventure highway, the construction of the new Samuel-De Champlain Bridge, the revitalization of Sainte Catherine Street, the redesign of McGill College Avenue, the creation of new parks in Griffintown, just to name a few.

MARCH BREAK – TALE FOR CHILDREN AT THE OBSERVATOIRE
Date : Tuesday, March 5th, 11 a.m.

During March break, come and enjoy a nice family time with this colorful, playful and musical story: The Land of the Lost Socks! You will have the pleasure of meeting real or imaginary characters, as well as admiring the breathtaking view on Montreal. A fun activity to brighten your morning and have a hot chocolate.

The story of a magical place where Lost Socks go in the hope of reuniting with their halves! Queen Lily Hosiery cannot be found. King Alexander Slipper searched everywhere and he is now so sad that he has lost his smile. Fortunately, a Grand Ball takes place at the castle bringing back hope and joy and more to come!

A 45 minutes tale for children aged between 2 and 8 years.

After a festive summer with our 5@7 Aper#autop, our vegetable garden gradually transformed into an autumnal scenery and has then left its place to the splendors of winter!

For the holidays, beautiful firs adorned with lights add a magical touch that perfectly matches the incomparable panorama of the city.

The large terrace is part of the Observatory experience, so visitors are invited to access it by presenting their ticket.
